PDAC 2021 also went virtual

This week, the PDAC 2021 took place on-line from Monday (March 8) till Thursday, succeeded by a few short tutorial courses on Friday March 12. Participation in and viewing of the discussions was possible only upon prior registration.

PDAC (Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada) is the world’s premier mineral exploration & mining convention. The virtual conference has enjoyed a wider participation than what usually was the case on location in Toronto. Moreover, a lot of professionals worldwide are attending, some of which might be reluctant to travel to a life conference. At the other hand, some of the local crowd of mining investors may be less inspired by the on-line event.

An on-line conference doesn't mean that no video interviews are available, however many are presentations of mining companies.  As usual, interviewers are the Kitco News team (David Lin and Michael McCrae), Investing News Network (Charlotte McLeod) and Stansberry Research  (Daniela Cambone). Several of those interviews have been recorded prior to the PDAC but are being released just now.

Quite a few of the country presentations also are on-line (as they are seeking a wider audience beyond the PDAC participants.)

I'm putting just this interview of Rick Rule as a teaser. You can find plenty more on YouTube.

Note: PDAC 2020 was the last large event in this kind to be organized in Toronto with a very large live audience (within days before the first lock-downs in Europe).
