Looking back to the PDAC 2026

After the Israel + US war against Iran has been taking the front stage during last two months, it is about time to have a closer look to what we carry away from the PDAC 2026.

First on the "PDAC curse": it has been a self inflicted injury. As soon as it became obvious that the goals set prior to this conflict were not going to get realized in a few days, general stock markets sold off, while unwinding the leverage caused precious metals to sell off. The implication for mining enterprises is kind of self-evident, though the catastrophic leverage to the down-side did not really materialize.
